Born Dec. 10th, 1972 in Jonkoping Sweden. Fredrik developed his interest in music during the 80's when key cities such as New York were outlets for new forms of music. His interest grew into a want to DJ. This lead Fredrik to explore DJing when he purchased his first set of turntables in 1988. At that time, hip hop and house were generally played by the same DJ. Finding an interest in Rap and Hip Hop music, Fredrik worked briefly with a few Swedish rappers. That was until 1991 when he visited the club scene in London and found house music. From this Fredrik decided to invest in a synth and sampler to help develop a new sound, or at least give his twist to modern day house music. His first release came with Swedish imprint "Plumphouse Records". Soon after that he moved to Stockholm, Sweden and began working as a studio engineer at Loop Studios. A second release soon followed with Plumphouse in late 1996.
Fredrik then decided that the label he started with was going in a harder direction than he was willing to take his music and began looking for new outlets for his sound. Out of this grew his relationship with i! Records and a completely new and deeper focus. The first EP for i! "Earth" featured 4 jazz and funk influenced house cuts. This quickly got Fredrik some attention and the ears of the house media. The reviews where so positive, i! decided to give Fredrik an artist focus and include some of his tracks on the Kevin Yost "Small Town Underground" compilation.
Fredrik's second EP entitled "Loungin" was delivered to great reviews in early 1999. Out of such grew further interest and worldwide recognition for Fredrik gathering praise for him in Australia, Belgium, and South Africa.
